Wendy Seltzer is a visiting assistant professor of law at
Northeastern University School of Law. Previously, she was a visiting assistant professor at
Brooklyn Law School and before that, a staff attorney with the
Electronic Frontier Foundation, specializing in intellectual property and
free speech issues. As a Fellow with Harvard's
Berkman Center for Internet & Society, Seltzer founded and leads the
Chilling Effects clearinghouse, aimed at helping Internet users to understand their rights in response to cease-and-desist threats. She is a North American representative to the
ICANN At-Large Advisory Committee, where she's advocated for increased ICANN transparency and protection of the privacy of some Internet users.
Seltzer has an A.B. from
Harvard College and J.D. from
Harvard Law School. She is also a
